Each and every bit I have enjoyed in my college I don't have any regrets studying in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very good and the exam structure is very simplified as they give each and every student ample time and ample opportunity to get passed in the annual exams. it is very easy and good and the pressure of exams is also less as it is divided into three stages.

Placement Experience

The placement of the college is very good and being improved year by year and I do secure an offer from the campus as well.

College Events

Almost every event is celebrated in our college but usually not at a large scale as the Director and Registrar of our college are very strict. They do take us to some sports fest but that the students have to plead for it. I don't know much as I am not interested in sports.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is as such that in the last semester it was 135000 and in the first semester it was like 140000-145000 including the hostel facilities and mess which is very good and one should opt for the hostel facilities as they are really nice.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I haven't opted for any education loan or scholarship as my families financial condition is quite good.

Campus Life

The campus life of our college is very good and happening. The best thing in our college the campus life the weather everything about this college is just beautiful. the gender ratio women: men is 40:60. And there are extracurricular activities but we don't have a proper ground for football and cricket.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel fees are 47500 including the mess and hostel and the hostel is very good with each and every facility given to you with a bed, mattress, blore, fan, etc and the mess is really good with very good quality food and provide you with everything.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is there and is of help and the seniors are really helpful and i am still in touch with my seniors.

The faculty of the college is very qualified or you can say overqualified for their posts as they possess N no. of degrees but yes the truth is their imparting knowledge strategies are very poor or you can say they are very bad at teaching and seems to not be interested in teaching the students.

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

yes they povide placements. After 6th sem, means in 7th sem you are eligible for placement and apply for companies based on their requirements. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

I applied for Chitkara, Cu, Du, HPU, SRM etc and the main reason I choose this college is because of the studies, placement and location. The study culuter in this unversity is very good as compared to other university . The student Teacher ratio not very large as compared to the other university which give every students a chance to stand out and get better results . I got acceptance from cu , du and 2 or 3 other colleges. Yes i also got rejections from colleges like SRM , VIT for not scoring a good percentile in jee and the fees and cost of living there i svery high as compare to JUIT . The admission process is very easy students can apply on the basis of their boards marks or on the basis of their JEE exams as well . After that students can attend the counselling sessions where they can vbisit the college get to know about the college . the admission staff is very helpful and they guide the students and family step by step throught out the whole process....Read More

JUIT- beautiful place

I applied in thapar, jiit, juit and Manipal. I got admission in all of them but I chose juit. I didn't go to jiit because my parents thought that environment of juit would be better. Also they were a bit hesitant to me living in Delhi for my graduation as people are very young during graduation. Didn't choose manipal as juit was better in every aspect other than placements. I had got admission in Jaypee noida but in 128 sector and also stream was IT which I didn't preferred so I left that.
