Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is good but the teaching procedure that our colkege follow is bad. Some waste subjects will also such as economics, biology, indian constitution, analig electronics. This subjects how help in computer science engineer student.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities in this college is their. Companies that give Internship to students are TCS, Cognizant, wipro etc. But very less got internship through college. That students who have goid cgpa in semester exams and have grat knowledge of coding.
Placement Experience
In this college placement ratio is only 75%. In this college only 75% students got placement from college in serviced based companies liks TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Capegemini, Infonsys. Most of the students also appy for off campus placement and they also crack good package. Highest package of this is 10 lpa and average package is 5 lpa and lowest package thatis offered 3.5 lpa to b.tech students. In Off campus students 30 lpa package. Most of the students crack job. Some of the students opt for higher studies such as m.tech. some of the students opt for government jobs.

Total fees for b.tech in 2023- 625000 But this it is increased it is now 697000 Scholarship is also available such as svmcm ehuch is offering 60000 per year but that is for only for west bengal students. For bihar students their state scholarship is also available. Government student credit card facility is also available in this college for bengal for other state students also. In first semester college will charge makaut registration fee of 2700. Per semester exam fee is also charged 1200 rupees.
Campus Life
Campus life is not so good in this college because the campus of this college is small. But lot of club in this coloege such as ciding club, photography club, sports club etc. fests happen in this only 1 time in a year.
Admission
In other top 10 colleges of west bengal you want 5000 rank for getting computer science engineering. But in this you can get cse in 12000 rank. If you have rank more than 12000 such as 40000. Then you apply for management quota because donation amount for admission in this college is very less as compared to other colleges such as heritage, IEM, TECHNO MAIN SALT LAKE ,HALDIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, The admission will happen in this college through wbjee counseling
Faculty
Faculty of this college is not good. Most of teachers are very bad in teaching. They always blame students. They never complete syllabus.Some teachers are good they teach well but most of the teachers just came to do their duty nothing else. As this college is autonomous so in this college question paper set makaut university which sets very tuff paper. Their is 70 marks paper. Most of time they will 55 marks question from one module. Copues going out for checking. When their is 180 students in the department their is 70 students getting back un result specially in 1st and 2nd second year students. In third year and fourth year the back ratio become ratio
