College is in a good place and location also the college infrastructure is very nice
College faculty is very cooperative and helping
There is a healthy atmosphere inside the college premises

Boys girls ratio is very low in the college

Course curriculum is vast and is not related to the actual course totally Curriculum is quarterly related to the course Else is the bookish language and knowledge Which have no role in real life problems

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay 70000 per year tution fees and the registration fee was 38000 and for Kota students is all free of cost (pmss) they all get their tution fee in the form of scholarship and they also don't have to pay in college

Campus Life

Our college organises various events every year and some of them are: Agaaz, Nemises, civil fest, electrical fest, etc,. For every events there are clubs made for thelike sports club Cultural club NSS Red cross Students welfare

Admission

It was not my willingness to take this college It was the only one in which I got a seat And secondly it was a government institute so my father told me to take addmission in this college For addmission direct entry is allowed on the basses of 12 class PCM percentage or JEE exam resuls

Faculty

College faculty have both good and bad teachers Some teachers are available aal the time but some of the don't even pick the calls in college hours Exam pattern should be changed Marking scheme can be improved Little bit And the subjects should be given to the teachers who have a good knowledge about the subject

Placement Experience:

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

yes they povide placements. After 6th sem, means in 7th sem you are eligible for placement and apply for companies based on their requirements. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

Great Learning, Friendly Campus, and Bright Future

I applied to AKTU, IPU, and a few private colleges. I got selected in 2, but picked this college as it has low fees, good teachers, and fair job offers. Seniors also gave good reviews about the labs and coding help. Yes, I could not get a seat in IPU due to low rank. I was close but missed the cutoff for CS. My JEE score was not high enough. I did not apply under spot round as I had already joined this college. Admission is based on JEE Main or state test like HPCET. Cutoffs differ for each branch. You need to pass 12th with PCM.
