The social life here is just so different and allows to bond with people with different cultures
The relationship with seniors is so good

Academics and the grading system are tough
Its overwhelming having so many non acadmeic activities going on

Course Curriculum Overview

It is highly relevant. We have labs whoch increases our understanding and gets us close to real life applications. Each semester is of 4 months and we have mid semester and end semester exams in additional to the class tests

Class Size: 160Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

We have two semesters autumn and spring and the semester academic fee is 100000 and then we have HMC fee which is for hostel and mess and it is 50000.we will be paying the HMC fee only one time a year in first semester.

Campus Life

The experience is so good. The personality development which we get through involvements in clubs is so good. I have gained lot of confidence and learned so much and made so many friends due to these activities

Admission

I have given the Joint entrance examination to get into indian institute of technologies given their campus placements and opportunitues and with my rank i got a seat in my college for my course. I have chose this college for its campus placements and student life

Faculty

Faculties are generally very highly educated individuals but im not sure about their teaching cause most of the professors don't really care about the understanding of students and yes there are also professors who are very good

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
