Course Curriculum Overview
MBBS is a very intense course and requires too much dedication and sleepless nights. My primary goal wasn't to be a doctor. But my family's will is it. So i decided to study MBBS but haven't decided what to do in further studies. The further studies are more hard. There are more clinical studies in future. I haven't given up on my dream yet. The subjects are conceptual and needs hardworks a lot.
Internships Opportunities
There plenty of chances in internship. As we are doing MBBS we have to do our internship in our college too. There are plenty opportunities to learn and become less handful. We have to do one year of internship with a good stipend. Junior doctors are always lending there helping hands.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is moreover semester based. Per semester there is 4500 fee. There is two semester in a MBBS year means total 9000.Our books , notes etc tuition fee is near about 32000 per year. And hostel, canteen fee all contains near about 38000 per year. Almost 78000 in total
Campus Life
My campus is overall good. But what's more important is my involvement. I have been involved in every thing since day 1. I have been adventurous and travelled a lot inside my campus in mean time. The outdoors, wards, other hostels, rooftops. Campus tour has been a blessing to me
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is good but could have been worse in some conditions. There is no lift in our hostel. We used to ride upto 3rd floor everyday for our daily work even for our meal. There are dogs wandering in our floor too. Though they are all good. But as our hostel is a bit much old, some conditions like bathrooms, water supply, drainage system become a bit to handle sometimes
Admission
This is the best medical college in west bengal and oldest college in Asia. Everybody has a dream to pursue his studies in this college. Medical leads every college in every aspects. It leads to revolution too. The faculties are good and it's situated in epicenter of study of the city Kolkata. I am very much pleased with my college
Faculty
Faculties are good. Some teachers are like too friendly and too much helpful. They have a vast sea of knowledge and experience. They share it with us. Some faculties are there too who aren't good as the others. They do have political influence and that affect us. But our principal is very kind hearted and good.
