Yenepoya medical college s MBBS course curriculum is very good ,well structured, comprehensive and very relevant to the needs of modern medical education .it aligns well with MCI guidelines.includes clinical postings and community health exposure

Duration of internship is one year compulsary rotating internship. Interns work under supervision of experienced faculty and staff members. Hands on clinical experience , development of clinical skills

Fees and Financial Aid

Yenepoya medical colleges fees vary depending upon the quota and category .For the government quota the fees are approximately rs.204496 per annum and management quota the fees are obviously higher at rs 2200000 per annum .additionally for NRI candidates the fees are $41000 per annum .no additional hostel fees were taken from us.Other additional payments for textbooks ,record books and log books have to be paid.uniforms were provided.

Faculty to students ratio is good and there are enough teachers available for each and every department and they are highly qualified with degrees like MBBS.We have 3 internal exams and a university exam . Pass percentages are very good

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

Mbbs course is one of the high respective course. We want to face many struggles during exams. But in future we will become excellenct doctor. Exams are not that much tough, but still passing marks in mbbs course is 40% (cbme curriculum). Last year it was 50% passing marks. We want to practice diagram for anatomy and physiology we want to write short notes.

Medical college with the best infrastructure in India

The curriculum is great. It is followed as per RGUHS ( Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences) guidelines. There are currently RS4, RS5 and RS6 curriculums. Each curriculum is different in it's own way. The pattern of subjects, exams and NEXT exam has changed as per each year and curriculum.

We have internals once in around 3 months and we have yearly final exams. The average of the three internals is added to the final marks to declare the results. The exams are of average difficulty. Not too difficult to pass.

Placement Experience:

The first batch of students is passed out in this year from our college. Now they are doing their house sutgency. Besides they are preparing for their pg studies. Most of the students will opt for higher studies like MS, MD, etc. Our hospital is average with average cases. And specialty hospital construction work is going on.

This college is graded A+under NAAC grading. Also the infrasturcture is known to be one of the best and also the patient inflow which is mandatory factor for mbbs is sufficient here.
