- I personally liked the campus very much, the campus here is really green and huge
- The availability of health facilities is also really convenient
- There are really good amount of trees and lakes in the campus which makes it one of the greenest IIT.
Dislikes
- The mess food is really terrible and unhygienic
- Their no exposure outside the campus, the place outside the campus is really disgusting
- The academic curriculum is really hard and hectic which leads to severe mental strenght
Course Curriculum Overview
1)I had a quite inclination towards machines and mechanics 2)It prepares moderately well 3)I think the curriculum should be updated time to time and special care should be taken by the professors on their teaching style. 4)In a particular semester there are 2 exams namely midesms and endsems
Placement Experience
1)From the 5th semester itself placements season starts 2)Companies like apple,mircosft,amazon,accenture made about 169offers 3)The percentage of students getting placed is about 68% 4) After getting degree i will mostly opt for a job and get a industry expereince
Fees and Financial Aid
1)The total fees per semester 1,57,00 2)Their is a 100% wavier on tution fees for ST/SC students. 3) For OBC-NCL they have fee wavier of 50% 4) They are many types of scholarships available for students like Sarthak foundation with the amount of 60000 per year,sopra steria with a amount of 60000 per year
Campus Life
1) There are manily two main festivals the annual tech fest kshitij and annual cultural fest spring fest and they are typically held in the month of january 2)There are lots of books available in the library which can be easily excessed by the students 3)There are many sports facilties available for the students and even there are many clubs and societys
Hostel Facilities
1)Hostel facilties are quite decent 2)The meal quality is terrbile to be honest ,it isnt even really hygenic 3)The mess food isnt that affordable 4)Majority students dont like the mess food of my college
Admission
1) I applied for colleges like IIT Rorkee and IIT kanpur during the college counselling process but i was alloted this college according to my rank 2)While counselling of collges according to my rank i got alloted IIT kharagpur and i wasnt able to get admission in other collges of the selected branc 3)The admissions are made by JOSA counselling by intially clearly jee mains cutoff that is 91 percentile and then clearing jee advanced cutoff which was 108 marks
Faculty
1) The faculty here is quiet decent 2) I personally liked the pds professor because of his really good teaching style 3)I personally didnt like the maths professor because of his teaching style 4)The are 2 exams namely midsems and endsems in a semester and the level of exam is really high many students fail in some subjects and i think the courses arent that relevant to be honest
