Course Curriculum Overview
The course is completely updated and based on the requirements asked by today's industries. Proper laboratory and theories are taught giving emphasis on the latest technologies. Workshops and short term courses are also organized for additional skills that are not included in the course.
Internships Opportunities
Every year the department of the university known as Training and placement cell organizes internship camps, where students are offered internships from a wide range of companies of all sectors. International internships are also provided by the university.
Placement Experience
In 2018, 1200 students are placed on Day 1, 1900+ jobs offered to date, 39 lakhs highest salary offered. Its placement records in history are also good. It has such a good placement because it has a dedicated department called CAAS which deals with the holistic development for the student's placement and training.
College Events
The annual and mega event the college celebrates is the KIITFEST. It's a three days long event that has many cultural and technical events. Other than that it has many events from different societies.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees with comparison to other universities are expensive but the university provides a laptop free of cost, and books for all the semester to every student. It also provides free servicing of laptops. It has a very well developed and maintained infrastructure. Considering all these facts and figures. The fee structure is feasible.

Different banks in collaboration with KIIT University offer good loans. Other then that students who tops the university and every branch topper are offered scholarships. And also every year two poor students are provided with free education.
Campus Life
KIIT University has a dedicated campus called Ksac ( KIIT student activities center) where students possessing various co-curricular skills can showcase here. It has its own cricket stadium which host Ranji trophy. A rugby stadium and football stadium are also present. The indoor stadium is present on every campus.
Hostel Facilities
KIIT infrastructure and hostels are very good and well maintained. Classrooms and all the laboratories are air conditioned. Auditorium and open air auditorium are also present in each and every campus.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are very helpful here. It's a ragging free campus. The alumni network held here every year. Seniors help their junior in every perspective starting from projects to getting internships. They also guide juniors for placement.
Exam Structure
In a semester students are needed to appear two papers, one is mid-semester and the other ends semester. The end semester consists of 50 marks and the mid-semester with internal marks which is evaluated by activity based works adds to 50 marks.
Admission
After attempting for the KIIT entrance exam, depending upon the rank, a merit list would be out with ranks. Based on the ranks, during the counseling branches are allocated depending upon the rank. After counseling students have to pay 75000 as admission fees. And after completion of the whole counseling process, students would be called on the day of reporting.
Faculty
The college is divided into different schools, like the school of electrical, school of electronics, school of Mechanical, school of civil, school of computer science, etc. Each and every school has a good mixture of young as well as experienced professors.
