A good college with excellent placement

Placements are excellent for branches like CSE/IT/ETC/EEE but for CIVIL & MECH there is bit less opportunity, for Internships you have to find your our contact's less number of internships are provided by college, Hostel is excellent facilities are of top level but food quality is average, management is good and faculty are also good. I guarantee you will have a wonderful year here in KIIT

Entrance Exam

Extra curriculum helps students to gain moral ability to achieve different things, in college you can't only study or focus on study in my opinion, one has to study as per time and also enjoy and to enjoy college life there must be some extracurricular activities, while placement also the interviewing person may ask you what other than studies you have done, so for that you have to do something that gains your interest.

Yes college provides internships for branches like CSE/IT there is very less opportunity for EEE or other core branches but you can find an internship on our own, generally internship in EEE are not paid but for CSE and IT, you will get a decent amount of stipend ranging from 5000 to 50000 depends on your knowledge

Placement is excellent, you will get opportunity to sit nearly in around 150 companies, that include all the major companies like for Day0 you will find DELLOITE, MUSIGMA, KPIT, etc day 1 include mass recruits like Accenture, Infosys, etc, around 90% of the total students get placed in the final year of their graduation

There are a number of events organized in Kiit which is open for other universities also like KIIT FEST is the biggest fest organized by a university level, other severely events like IMDB fest, music fest and some other events like NSS days and very much society events like you have to join a society

The fee is expensive, for my batch, we have to pay around 1,47,500 per semester this includes all charges( mess+hostel+laundry+books+labs) you don't have to pay any extra charges for anything. For new juniors, the fee has increased, and in my opinion, Fee is quite expensive but the facilities are also good

The scholarship is available for toppers who scored the top 1-100 ranks in the KIITEEE examination and for girls they have a separate scholarship. Other than that for state topper as well as for CBSE topper's also there is some kind of scholarship available, they can study as a very minimal amount of fee, and for rest have to pay the full amount of fee

There are numerous amount of extracurricular activities in KIIT you just name them, and it's available, it depends on you which society you want to join, for sports we have KIIT STADIUM where Ranji matches are also organized, 7-8 gyms are their 5-6 swimming pools 3 badminton court's, and all the sports you have heard off is available here, LABS are fully equipped will latest equipment's, you won't find any difficulty in doing lab experiment's.

Hostel facilities are very good there are 3 kinds of hostel, which you have to choose from like AC 3 bed, AC 2 bed, as well as non AC hostel and their costs, are for AC it is around 30000-40,000 and for non Ac it is 17,500 hostel warden are quite strict as they have to be, hostel mess is also good, but food quality is average.

Yes, seniors are very helpful. There is no word called ragging in KIIT, you won't face any difficulty regarding any issues, senior's and faculty members are always there to help you our 24*7. You will get enough guidance from your senior since the very first year.

Exam structure is very simple you will have to give one mid semester exam of 25 marks there will be 15 marks allocated to project or assignments that are given by the teacher and at the end there will be an end semester exam of 60 marks and in total you have to get more than 40 marks to get pass grade.

I have given KIITEEE entrance exam conduct by KIIT in the month of April, centers are all over India and the results are published within a month then you will be called for councilling at Kiit according to your rank and there you have to choose your branch according to the rank the branches are allocated, I got 18,000th rank and got EEE branch the counseling in my time was on 20th may and the session started from 17 July there is also internal branch sliding process is you want to change your branch as it also depends on available seats, one more thing at the time of counselling you have to deposit an amount of around of 70,000 as counseling fee.

College faculty are well educated and you will find that most of them literally 90% off the teaching faculty are from IIT's, They know how to teach in simple ways, faculty are also responsible for you good marks, so teaching in KIIT is very good you won't find any difficulty in getting in touch with faculty member's, also 70% of faculty members are young
