My experience about KIET Ghaziabad

For our syallbus to be honest it's literally not of any use.. What we are studying is a repeated syallbus for years and same experiments without any upgrade we study topics which literally lost their relevanve years ago.. College tries to help with adding subjects like technical communication and programming languages but if the main subjects are already those who don't have any relevance but we hVe to focus on them more it's literally sums to nothing and we have to prepare ourselves on our own.

Fees is 139000 yearly.. Yes they are increasing it as till my batch it was affiliated and was running in accordance to the curriculum of AkTU but now they have got autonumous status so they are choodsing syallbus on their own so they are increading fees.. The college doesn't provide with such kinda schloarship you can get government's AKTU schloarship though which you can get.. It varies but it's always 50k+ other than that there are only private schloarship like reliance and all but college doesn't provide any schloarships

About campus life (i laughed a lil writing this) it's like 18 acres which has about 9 hostels and college buildings so for college life i'd say let it be. For fests there are 2 main fests 1.Epoque which is a cultural fest.. 2. Rann which is sports fest and and if u wanna count Freshers Party after these there are small clubs performance. You can most of the books that you'll need in college for academics other than that you can tell the librarian to order. For facilities in classrooms each class had 2 Acs atleast and about 5-7 fans depending on the block. Sports offered are- Cricket, Football, tennis, table tennis, batminton, volleyball, basketball, billiards and shooting. For social group there is a NGO named Uddeshaya on our college. Which provides blood to needy and does all kind of social work so if you are interested you know which club to join if you are coming to kiet

There are 3 girls hostel and 6 boys hostel in which only one named Chandragupta has attached washroom and is all 3-seater hostel other than that every hostel has common washroom with options from 1seater to 3 seater for boys and 1 seater to 4 seater for girls.. Meal quality i'd say is decent because many times i spent my night in my friends PGs and it's safe to say the hostel food is decent in comparison to others with lots of food choices.. You'd have to eat the same food the next week.. Plus you get 4 meals a day-- Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, Dinner. Taking hostel is very easy in starting but as time passes it becomes more difficult as everyone tries to take hostel at first.

I wanted a engineering college that was near Delhi and noida with a good reputation and less strict rules.. But i got a lil tricked i thought the college has become autonomous the year i took admission but after i got entry i got to know that it was still under aktu and we are not getting some new syallabus.. But although i wanted to get admission in this college.. Yes I was going to LPU but for some reasons i had to drop that idea.. And when i wanted a college with good reputation and good studies with lieinnacy i was getting KIET so i opted for it. For admission you can have a direct admission and in other way you can get in with aktu counselling.. I came with aktu counselling which happens after joshaa counselling and for instance you are not treated differently it is all the same however you come here

As my batch is last of aktu batch from kiet.. And now the college has got it's autonomous status.. The course is all changed so new batches are getting new syallbus and studying new subjects and we seniors dont know what they are getting teached as our interaction with 1st years is 0..kiet is very serious about ragging matters that they set different timings of lunch and class over.. Like for lunch for 1st years the timing is 12-1 and for us it's 1-2.. So i don't know much about what subjects they are studying and how much effective the subjects are
