B.com Hons from heramba Chandra college is a very useful and white though course .its one of the best commerce colleges in Kolkata and also known for its placements at branded companies like TCS , ICICI, axis bank , Indigo etc.
Internships Opportunities
Getting a good score from HCC will help you to get a job before your final exams, at big companies like TCS, ICICI, axis bank, Indigo , Piramal foundation, etc . Our college doesn't allow internship but some may apply for office faculty or helping staff in office and stipend will be 3000-5000
College Events
Our college hosts freshers welcome party every year for 1st year student and also hosts events like blood donation camp , free eye checking camp etc . College per year host fest and social at the end of every year .
Fee Structure And Facilities
Its a little low comparing to other colleges because its a under govt College , the fees will be 5000-6000 admission fees and exam application will be 400-600 per year .our college deducts all expenses from the admission fees .
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college doesn't allow loan but offers sports or extracurricular students a less in admission fees, and for them, there isn't any attendance query. As far I know they don't allow for the loan , but in some cases, an economically distressed student can get a concession in fees.
Campus Life
Our college has two big libraries, and a big lab for geography Hons students .. also two computer centers for tally ERPs course also. Our college has a playground, and the canteen also students sports room. Our campus is very big and full of opportunities.
Hostel Facilities
Nope .. I never opted for hostel facilities but near our college, there are so many hostels paying guest, Oyo rooms so students coming from a distance can stay there and study. The hostel infrastructure is quite budgetable.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni is quite good at our colleges and seniors are very friendly they're always there for you at any problem .. seniors will also help you in case any problem in admission .alumni is very big rather than other colleges.
Admission
I scored 85.75% in my higher secondary education and I applied for entry in this college I got selected .. and the college wants at least 82%+ score for admission in this college ..the candidates who are thinking of get admission must score good marks.
Faculty
Faculty is great, union members are all friendly and helpful, all the professors, office staff are always ready to help you out. The college has two labs also with two libraries for all students, and in some cases, they have a selling book store for study materials.
