Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good. We used to have semester exams and before every semester mid term exam of 20 marks was conducted which was further added in the semester exam marks.Each semester was of 6 months.
Internships Opportunities
JWC was the first to set up a placement cell among the undergraduate/post graduate colleges in Jamshedpur. It arranges campus recruitments by various companies like WIPRO, IBM, TCS and banks like ICICI, HDFC, etc. The selection procedures conducted by the company are written tests, group discussion and personal interviews.
College Events
A lot of events are celebrated and organized by Jamshedpur Women's College Like sports day, conferences to inspire students in the field of science, technology and innovation, International mother's language day, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of Jamshedpur Women's College is very much feasible. We have to pay semester wise fees. The exam fees, admission fees, and material fees were paid by us at the admission time which is quite affordable.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides scholarship to the schedule caste and schedule tribe students. The college also provides scholarships to Sports Quota Students as well. And I don't know about the loan facility whether it is provided or not.
Campus Life
The college organizes various fests all over the year as well as conferences at both national and international levels. Annual sports day, seminars on education and technology. It gives state level sportsmanship to the students who are very good at sports.
Hostel Facilities
I didn't live in the hostel because it's my hometown.. but as per my knowledge, the hostel facilities are good with facilities like TV, Internet, Newspaper, magazine, etc. in the college campus. Mobile phones are not allowed in the hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni of the college are very supportive. The college also provides the facility of student-alumni interaction during the orientation ceremony for the students. And the seniors are also very helpful who share their ideas and views with us.
Admission
We had to submit our 12th class marksheets along with the college form and those who have secured 1st division in 12th boards..they were given durect admission to the college after payment of 1st semester fees.
Faculty
The faculty is not up to expectation level, just average but you can find some of the faculties who are just too good. So you can grow here very well if you have self making capabilities but one can also find really genius students.
