Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is the same as that for the last 15 years. There are very fewer electives courses and much of the curriculum is fixed. There are two minor exams of 20 marks each and a major exam of 50 marks.
Placement Experience
Companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Nagarro, Capgemini, etc. come for placements. The highest salary is offered around 8 lacs and the lowest salary is 2 lacs. The average salary is approximate 3 lacs. The companies offer the student the role of coding or testing.
College Events
There is a cultural fest named JASHAN celebrated every year in which different colleges participate. There is also a TECH FEST celebrated by the engineering department. Many sports events are also held in the university.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is somewhat feasible. The annual fee of B.Tech is around one lakh. The other departments like arts, economics have a comparitively low fee but the management course are quite expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a departmental scholarship provided to the students whose family income is low. Their even semester fee is partially or fully funded by the department based on the financial need of the student.
Campus Life
The departments have an adequate number of labs and classrooms. There is the main library where there are approximately 10 lacs of books have kept. There is also a playground along with basketball, handball and tennis court.
Alumni/Alumna
There is a website available for the alumni but it is not that helpful. Some alumni communicate with the career department if there is any job opportunity available in their company. Senior students are also not quite helpful.
Faculty
Some teachers have a vast knowledge of their subjects while many are not qualified for their positions. The teacher to student ratio is 1:50. We used to get very less exposure to the industries during the study.
