Review by a 3rd year student.

The college fees is too low as compared to the others college outside the West Bengal. So i have decidee to come here. The couse curriculum i thing is not good here. The university have to improvise it. It is too old curriculum. Teaching method is good by some faculty members. But some are not good. They only came to do their job and take their salary. They do not care about the student that what they learnt here. The frequency of the exam is not good. Almost evey month ther is a exam. So, we cannot get the preparation time. I thing that why the engineers says only i night is enough to give the exam.

In my college there is good placement record. The average placement is approx 6 lpa for this college. And for CSE/IT department the average is increased by 8 lpa. The college provide the opportunity to get any jobs.But if you don't know any thing then the college will also not able to help you. You have to work hard for good placements. The placement rate is approx 80 percent. The highest package is 1.10 CR and this is offered to a IT student. In this year 2024 the highest package is 40 lpa and still counting. My plan after the 4 years degree is to go for the higher studies. I am preparing for the gate exam.

My college name Techno Ma8n Salt Lake. And its fees is 5.5 lakh for the entire four years BTech course for Electronic And Computer Science engineering. Here all the BTech branch has same fees(5.5 lakh). My college also took admission through management quota. But it takes much money for this. For my department it takes nearly 4 lakh. And for Cse/IT department it is nearly 10-12 lakh. But here is something good for TWF candidates, the fees for the course is half the original one. So, it a good point for students who are not able to pay the whole fees.

The overall experience to me for this college is decent. I say one thing do not come to this college with high expectations. It cannot provide to that much. If you make expectations to this college you will fell not good here. The others activities if you have to pursue is good here. You will get much time to do it. Here the club are very nice. I think the club of this college is better than the college. You will the club activities more. Almost everytime there is something is going on to any club. If you want ot join you can.

I took admission in this college because the fees of this college is too low almost 5.5 lakh for the entire 4 years course. I thing this fees is affordable to eveyone. I do not applied for any other college. I had taken admission through the WBJEE exam merit card. I had rank 18k in this exam. And by the counseling i got this college. The admission procedure has gone soo smooth. I didn't face any type of problem in admission. The eligibility criteria for admission to this college is you have to score at least 60 percent in your 12th class. And there is no such criteria.

The ratio of the faculty to student is 10:1. I know is not good. But the faculty are very nice. They behavior is very good to any student. They do not make you feel that they are teacher and you are a student. In BTech there is 8 exams in a semester. CA1, CA2, CA3, CA4, PCA1, PCA2, External and the final semester exam. These ca's and pca's is added to the fi al semester exam. So these exam are also compulsory. Ca1, ca2, and ca3 is taken by the college and ca4 is taken by the Makaut university.
