Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

I choose chemical engineering because in Uttar Pradesh, even in state level colleges placements of chemical sector was even better than mechanical and electrical, however when I join here reality was different, even I decided that I will change my branch after 1st year but after the councelling they release the notice that from now branch won't change

Placement Experience

3

Placements are not that good , only CS , IT and ECE students get good placements of around 15 LPA , students of other streams mostly go for higher education either for GATE or prepare for UPSC preparations.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees is around 220000 per annum including hostel and message in this hence total fees of 4 years including your expenses may go upto 9 lakhs however there are several scholarships that you can avail. First of all if your income certificate is below 1 lakh per annum than hundred percent of total fees is waived off which is 62000 per semeste Fees breakoff Institute fee One time refundable fee : 12000 One time fee : 4500 Tution fee (per semester) : 62500 Other fee ( per semester): 10500 Total -Rs 89500 Hostel fee One time fee : 3000 Hostel room rent (per semester) : 8000 Mess advance (per semester) :20000 Total - 31000

Campus Life

4

I am loving the campus life. I love nature so I am enjoying here . Social aspects are good , clubs of all different arenas are available like movie, literary, singing everything.Sports facilities are great as I have mentioned above

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Room is below average , you get half almirah, sockets are enough for laptops and mobile charging You can have kettle , blowers etc in room. Every where taps are of cold , hot and normal water hence no problem regarding water.

Admission

Admission process is simple , you just have toclear the jee examinations and then apply for Josaa and CSAB councelling .You don't have to give interviews etc . I was also getting MAIT Delhi (ECE) ,but I private college fee was more around 12 lakhs for 4 years and here I have to give 4 lakhs in for four years that's why I came here . Tag of NIT is also here.

Faculty

4

Course is based on new education policies. Overall faculties are also good . They focus on real practical, industrial knowledge that is required for placements. Exam questions are from notes of the teachers. Marking scheme is absolute. You can't change your branch even after if top in your branch in 1st year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.

Highest package is of 45 lpa and lowest of 8 lpa. There is 100% placements of students from core branches. After i get my degree i want to work in a tech company and learn about technology.

Placement Experience:

Placemets start right from your 7th semester. Most comapnies that would come here would be like vedanta , ashok leyland etc etc who mainly do mass hiring, th no of offers are quite low as for durig my time most companies qul do diversity and hiring would only select girls and the girls were low in numbers as compared to the boys so each girl recieved atleast 2-3 offers while rarely a boy would even rev=cieve a single offer. The highest package was offered by Vedanta but it was 13 lpa in ct in hand it would be arond 5-6 lpa , the average package was also the same around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students placed would be around 30 percent but they inflated the numbers heavily but showing only the students who were eleigible as boys were mostle ineligible. My plans are to look for masters somewhere abroad.
