Good University Campus environment

Negative:- Any type of extracurricular activities occurring in college are notified in time to the students. Last time changes are made in schedules. Most negative point:- There are only 2 official fests of college and at that time also classes are going on and teachers force students to attend classes instead of attending fests.

Entrance Exam, Merit List

The course curriculum is not updated accordingly with today's job scenario. There are a total of 8 semesters in BTech with 3 sessional exams (1 every month) and final exams(Endsem) in the last month of the each semester

Overall Placement is average here. Most of the students (other than those left with supplementary) get campus placements into most common companies like Infosys, wipro, tcs with average package 2.5 l.p.a. Companies visit every year providing employment to students

Excelsior is the main event of this college with activities ranging from cultural, technical, management celebrated every year. This is a 2 days fest where the whole college enjoys and has fun. Students can showcase their talents here and can showcase their talent in front of the whole college is selected. Pratispardha is a 2 days sports event of the college, where sports competition is arranged including football, cricket, volleyball, badminton, basketball, etc .

The fee structure is feasible as it is a government college with Odd semester fee 34k approx and even semester fee 29k approx. So I can say that 65000 is the fees for a year with special scholarships and concessions for Kashmiri migrants, backward castes.

Post matric scholarship is provided to students of backward classes, Scheduled tribes, scheduled castes, and heavy scholarships are provided to Kashmiri migrants. Students with bad financial conditions are provided a fee waiver/more time on a special recommendation for the payment of fees.

No extracurricular activities are there except the two fests mentioned earlier. Newly made computer labs are good but some electronic labs have nonworking types of equipment which are important for practical work. Support for any type of Sport is not provided by the college to the students.

The hostel infrastructure is average. Very spacious hostel, average food in the hostel mess, the hostel has a common room where we can watch tv, wifi facility is working for most of the time of year but sometimes it needs repairing and this is a government hostel so actions are taken very late.

Alumni meet also known as Milaap is done so that students can interact with successful alumni who passed out from the college, sessions are arranged for meeting them. Senior students mostly don't interfere with any junior. Everyone is busy in their own life. But when someone needs help they are provided support by seniors. Actually, there is nothing like senior junior, here students live like a brother with respect for each other.

The faculty is supportive of subject related matters, but don't bother about the extra curricular activities of students. Most teachers are cool, making a healthy, jolly environment for students but some of the teachers are very strict making our college life hard.
