Positive Alumni network great Entrepreneurship and edc cell is nice. Some teachers are willing to help Good central library Negative Poor infrastructure. Old lab facilities. Classroom sucks. Lack quality of teachers.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum isn't that great. Also being the first batch of a.p.j Abdul Kalam technological University the exam structure was poor. It's is slowly getting better. Course curriculum contains everything in a first look, but we experience it then we feel it lacks practical knowledge, serious IV and internships
Placement Experience
Placements are just okay. The majority is just software. If you are looking for a product based or core companies, then it is hard. Some are coming here and taking a few people and some are not even coming.
College Events
We hardly had a tech fest. The principal of our time wasn't cooperation and also our university does include these in the curriculum. They are not productive at all. Their all plans are like fiction movies.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee need pay to university is around 9000 a year. Pta fund of 10000 need to be paid at the beginning.1000+ exam fee per sem. Hostel and mess 4000 per month.these are the amounts for hosteler. ( This is my case)
Fees and Financial Aid
College doesn't provide any loans. One could get a scholarship based on their entrance rank, caste reservations, and financial status. Based on entrance rank there I'll be a reduction in the fees paying to university. And others are purely based on caste and income.
Campus Life
I would say Within the limitations, sports are going well. We got an enthusiastic p.T sir who really helps the students to get through. Labs are there, but being an old college and less responsive management things are not getting updated.
Hostel Facilities
It's 3.8/5. It's okay being a state govt. aided college. You can't expect an iit facility here. Also college hostel can't accommodate the total number of students of the college. So half or more need to stay outside hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is doing great. They keep the connection with the college and donated various buildings and types of equipment. Senior students are helpful.people and network of seniors are good. They help us at various platforms.
Faculty
Being govt. Aided college most of the faculties are below average. The y lack concept. Yet there are quite number of teachers who are good and got PhD. The problem I see here is management is hiring just m- tech paasouts who can pay them well
