A brief description about my college

The environment here is competitive which gives us a boost in studying and keeps us motivated. It also makes us study hard in exam times to get better marks than our friends. Also, the grading system is relative here.

We follow the course curriculum similar to IIIT Hyderabad because it was our mentor institute for 5 years. The courses are pretty good and up-to-date periodically, if something feels not relevant anymore, it will get removed/changed for the next batch. The exam structure is good too, we have 2 mid-sem exams along with one end-sem and several other evaluations this gives us a chance to improve ourselves if we do bad in one.

Since this is a new institution, there are not many possible placement opportunities for the students. Especially for the ECE guys, we hardly got any companies related to our field. Most of the guys get placed in the IT field. For an internship, we can take help from professors. But the college doesn't give or participate directly in terms of internship.

1. Abhisarga- It is our annual cultural fest. It comprises of 3 days of fun. The first day, we have singing performances while on the second day, there are dance competitions and on the third day, we have a band performance along with EDM night. 2. Ethnic day- on this day, we wear our traditional dresses and sit around a bonfire and there is music and catwalk function. 3. Novato- It's our fresher's party event. In this event, first year students give performances.

The fee structure is quite similar to the popular government colleges. It is feasible for some people. But most of the studies on education loans. But the fee structure for mess is good according to the food provided to us.

There are certain tie-ups with third parties that provide loans but their schemes were not good, so I got a loan on my own. Also, the AP government gives scholarships to students but only to local students. There's no such thing that is directly related to our college.

We have labs for ece students as well as cs students. There's plenty of equipment which ee can work on. We can take some items by issuing them. In terms of sports, we have a basketball court, volleyball, badminton, throwball, cricket, football grounds. We have instructors too. So it is good in terms of activities.

The hostel infrastructure is up to mark, we got lifts and our washrooms get cleaned every day. If we have problems regarding anything in the hostel premises, we can directly complain to our hostel warden and our problems generally get solved within a day.

Senior students are helpful. We talk with alumni students too personally, if we need any help from them. In the first year, seniors taught us how to survive here because most of us were homesick. They help us a lot in our bad times.

Faculties are great here. Most of them have gained their degree from abroad and they are a good person when comes to help students personally also. They keep the environment friendly in classes. They teach stuff in a way that all can understand. They pause for doubts also. So to sum-up, faculties are good.
