Course Curriculum Overview

Lourdes matha college of science and technology was under the Kerala technological University (KTU).they claim that their curriculum was latest. My opinion is that it some how difficult to get the btech degree

Placement Experience

A few good faculties are in placement cell running in my college.so many companies are coming here for campus selections. many training programs are conducted in college for better placement.very students who study in college get this opportunity.

College Events

Events are the main attraction of Lourdes matha college of science and technology(LMCST). Our main event is our tech fest know as "EQUINOX" .it is conducted by final year students.it is normally conducted at the end of February or march.2 day celebration is our fest and many other events are celebrated in our college

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible. students who pass each semester without any backlog will get consideration in tuition fees. many students studies in low fees structure. Poor students who are brilliant in studies also get a huge consideration.

Fees and Financial Aid

A good scholarship offered by the college is " KARUNYA VARSHAM " scholarship.it offers students can study without any tuition fees .this scholarship is announced through newspaper ads.LMCST supports all bank loans available

Campus Life

Our college has a physical education department equipped with sports items and college has a large play area with facility for playing cricket, football, volleyball, shuttle, basketball, etc.. two faculties are in the physical education department

Yes of course, in a certain interval college alumni meets are conducted by the college and many of them help students for campus placement and related things.so many students have started their own companies and they also conduct campus selections in college

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

LMCST the GREEN CAMPUS

The admission process is really good. Students having a valid KEAM rank can get other fee reductions and get on management and merit seats. Those who don't have a valid KEAM rank can approach NRI seats. The admission procedure is like before about 1 month after the college start management and new seats can be occupied.
