Hostel and academic facilities

Computer science a had really good placement record. That's what made me choose it. Critical thinking which is a part of the curriculum gives you the real-world applications. Constitution of india needs to be taught in the better way. Exams are not that tough and easy to pass if you study well.

Since semister 7 you are eligible for placements. Companies like oracle, TCS, Wipro visit every year. Last year highest package was offered by oracle for 28.23 lakhs CTC. And average package of 8.5 lakh Placement record was around 83% last year. I look forward to do my masters in management after btech.

Academic fees is 200000 per year(development fees and lab fees, uniform included. And 166000 per year for the hostel (uniform fees and hostel kit included). You need to register through nmimscet which charges 2000. They don't provide any scholarship not do they have any reservation quota. The fees is same for all the btech courses. No scholarship and financial aid provided.

Annual festival called protsahan is very cool, held in March generally. We got a technical fest in December and sports fest too in October. The library has a huge range of books and we have around 2lakh e-books. Sports facilities a quite lil. They got swimming pools, lawn tennis, tt, cricket, football, basketball.

Hostel infrastructure is quite good. 4 people in a single room. Combined bathrooms. Mess food is good. Registration process is easy. Hostel is compulsory for everyone except the locals of shirpur. Security is strict.

All the colleges I was getting into were terrible in terms of placement. And Incase of government colleges, I did not prepare good enough to get in. Nmims conducts nmimscet though which you can get admission into nmims shirpur and all the other branches.

The teacher student ratio is not up to the mark, average. The professors are quite helpful and friendly tho. Not too strict. I think rajish katarne is one of the coolest professor I've met till now, I like how he actually wants everyone to understand things. Their isn't anyone I don't like for now. Their are 3 exams per semester. Mid terms 1, mid terms 2 and finals. The course is pretty relevant.
