College is average but beat for middle class family. Placements are average. The college infrastructure is good Campus structure is good. The facilities are good. So I will say college is good u can get admitted here.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum depends upon your Field. For BTech courses are good and up to the mark. The exam is on a semester basis. Per year 2 semester. Workshops are also available for better understanding of the concepts.
Placement Experience
Placements, hmm it's average I will say that placement depends upon your talent and confidence. Most of the placement is done in IT sector companies. Yes, an internship is provided up to a certain limit for very few students. At last, I will say placement here is about 60-70 percent.
College Events
Events play a major role in the life of a student. There are many events taking place here in this college. One of the biggest tech fests of our college is Prayukti. Participants from many colleges come here to win. Other events are amagadon, sports in cricket, volleyball, football, badminton, table tennis, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of the Haldia Institute of Technology is somewhat affordable for everyone. The fees for BTech courses for 4 years is 4.5 lakhs. I think it's rather less then many other colleges. U can opt for this college to complete your BTech in affordable prices.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, the college doesn't offer you a loan directly you have to take a loan in your bank and then provide the details to the college administration. I have availed loans from a bank. Scholarship can only be provided by your state government. The college doesn't play any role.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are many in number Labs for 1st year is average. But for others are it is good. Sports are taking place. Cricket, Football, volleyball, Table tennis, Basketball. There are a good pitch for every sport.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel yes, I have opted for a hostel. Currently, I am in Ranichak boys hostel which is the best hostel for the 1st year students You will enjoy yourself if u get this hostel. To get this hostel u have to ask the person in charge for hostels at the time o admission. Other hostels are Balaji, Akash, etc.
Alumni/Alumna
Hmm, seniors are good they try to help you with everything if you need them. Alumni come to meet the juniors and guide them. Alumni come to their respected branches mostly and help them. So overall interaction is good.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is fine. U get the best faculty for every stream. But u need to depend on yourself rather than on teachers. Your concepts and understanding are far more important. The faculty will provide you all the help and support available.
