Teachers are very helpful towards every student.
Seniors are also very good and helpful towards junior
No ragging is there in this college and Canteen has good food.

Dislikes

Washrooms are not enough good for the girls
Air conditioned rooms are not available .
There are not enoughs fans and network issue is faced.

Delhi University is already very famous for its b.com course and this made me took admission in this college also pros of this college is that it is in North campus and women's college.The area is very good and safe.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 13500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In first year I paid something 12k and in 2nd year I paid 13k something.Its increasing year by year . It's because of facilities we are availing in the college and also maintainence charge.Hons.course has more fees as compare to program course.

Campus Life

We have fest in navratri and diwali and many events. Books are easily available in library of every department.we do have computer labs and soon there will be smart boards too.there are many societies of music,dance ,debate and women's welfare which help students to learn new experience. Dance society name is sway Commerce department name is comspect.

Admission

I applied to many colleges and found this one interesting.As it's named on the great warrior Lakshmibai .she is already a great example of bravery and knowledge. Admission process was very simple and integrated. Everything was mentioned properly like what to and what to not. Cut off this exam was 690-700

Faculties are very approachable they try to help it out.Any problem regarding anything is handled by given department .There 2 semester exams in 1 year .20% students are fail and rest 80% are passed .

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

The Best is Yet to Come !!

I had applied for a number of other colleges, but after the allotment got it into the present one. but I am totally happy here about my course, the co- curricular activities and about the faculties. If I start to compare my college with other colleges, there are a number of places where my college is a bit behind, may be in the case of infrastructure or placements.The main reason I was not able to be of another college was about the marks that I achieved in cuet ug and I guess more preparation was necessary. The admission process was easy, where the admission letter was given along with my marksheet of 12th standard and cuet scores was submitted. I had applied for a number of North campus colleges and I didn't get it into them , the reason is about the marks scored in cuet ug.I didn't get any rejection from any of the college.
