Likes
- I liked the campus of the college. The surroundings are always clean and mentioned. Proper security is there at all times. The college campus is maintained in a very eco-friendly way. E-bikes are made available to travel on the campus.
- The infrastructure of MIT-WPU is very good and helpful.
- There are 3 libraries made available for students. It's very helpful.
Dislikes
- Some faculty members might be an expert in their field, however it's sometimes difficult to say if they are good at teaching.
- The PWC of the college faces technical issues from time to time.
- The college makes all the unnecessary events compulsory for students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very up-to-date. The syllabus is mostly based on case study pattern which helps students analyse real-life industry incidents. This prepares us for the industry life within India as well as out of India. The exams are taken in semester pattern.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is 1,35,000/- rupees per year. The students can opt to appear for the 4th year as well, if they wish to get the Honours degree in B.Com instead of plain B.Com. No additional tution fees is required. However the exam fees for ACCA fees is charged separately.
Campus Life
MIT-WPU has various annual events arranged throughout the year. The college has good infrastructure. There are three libraries with an up-to-date stock of the required books and materials related to all types of fields and courses available at MIT-WPU. There are many student-run social groups and clubs which are introduced right at the beginning, during the induction week. These clubs are very helpful and exciting.
Admission
I applied for the same course in Symbiosis. My application for approved there but I decided not to go there as the crowd there is not said to be very good.the admission process at MIT-WPU is easy to handle. However in order to get your application approved, we have to give the MIT-WPU Common Entrance Test and a Personal Interview.
Faculty
The faculty is pretty approachable. All the faculty members are on top of their fields however, only a few of them enjoy teaching. The curriculum is very up-to-date. And the subjects are taught based on real life case studies which helps make the students industry-ready.
