Likes
- The campus is very pretty, there is a lot of greenery
- The crowd in general is pretty good too.
- I also liked the library and canteen as well.
Dislikes
- Faculty speaking in marathi a lot of times during classes
- Genuinely, being a non maharashtrian I'd like it more if I'm friends with people like me but it's a little tough to find people like me
- The college timings, I think they can be reduced till 3pm.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is actually pretty good according to the electronics and telecommunication engineering. All the subjects are relevant it's just that the faculty lacks something somewhere.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are good. There are a lot of organisations that have collaborated with bvpcoe for internships and a lot of them begin from first year itself. There is a very big variety of fields to choose from.
Placement Experience
My college does provide placements and I've heard that they're pretty good. I think from the 4th year students begin to prepare for placements. I don't remember all the companies that have visited but there were many that visited last year. Highest package was somewhere around 27LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise fees 1st year it is 1.75L then it increases every year but at the same rate. There are scholarships provided, I'm only aware of a scholarship that is for girls but there are more which we can apply for.
Campus Life
I think the social life at college is quite good if you're into it. There are various clubs and a lot of events take place. Clubs are definitely like a highlight of this college because they are pretty good.
Admission
I chose this college over others because of their placements obviously, that's what grabbed my attention the most. The admission process is pretty simple, you give an entrance exam and get to select your branch according to the rank you get after the results are declared.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is like 1:60. I liked my physics practical teacher the most because he is genuinely really nice and fun as a teacher.I didn't like a few teachers because I don't understand what they try to teach in their classes. There are like 3 exams, two are unit tests and one if university examination. For me the exam has been hard.
