I think study wise, faculty wise our college was very good..The Cut offs are increasing every year which means that only quality students will get admitted in the college and hence the overall quality of studies is going to increase naturally. one thing we lack in our college I think was discipline. The teachers and other staffs needs to be more strict towards the students.

The Course is a very rich one where you get to know so many knowledge and a great learning experience about the various economic topics like Accounts, Finacial management, taxation, audit, law and information technology etc etc. The exam structure is OK, but it needs to more flexible ( e:g open book examination).

No, our college do not provide internships. As per thr job opportunities are concerned there is a good scope considering the participation of limited number of students in that course. Also these kinds o jobs requires persistency, skills and hard work, which is not everyones cup of tea.

There were a plenty of such events, such as: Teachers Day on 5th September Language day on 21st February Environment Day on 5th June Saraswati Puja on January every year College Social and feast Durag Puja Christmas Farewell Programme College Annual Programme College Sports

Very Very Feasible. As it is a college run and undertaken by government, the fees is very appropriate which even a middle class family can afford very easily. Only a handful of money ( ranging from 1500 to 3000) was required to be paid every year by a student whcih also covered library expness and examination fees.

Well I did not receive any scholarship or loan facility from my college..But one of my friends who was financialy not so sound but a meritorious student got a scholarship from AMUL whereby he was awarded 6000 per year for his 3 year college.

Our college has been always famous for its sports. Specially outdoor games in the form of Cricket and Football. We had a great environment for extra curricular activities. Our Football team represented NORTH BENGAL University many a times in different parts of India and still is doing so.

To be honest the College Alumni is not as strong and Close as was the High school alumni. Most of them remain busy in their highes studies and worl life. But some of them are very agile and wants to be connected all the time..

I went to college with my class 12 marksheet and did the form fill up as under. My name got selected in the first merit list only. My best of four subjects rendered me 86.5% when the cut off for WB Board was 67%.

The faculty was very good when it comes to the knowledge and depth part of the respective subjects. But the language seemes to a little barrier. As most of the teachers were bengalies, they did not have a good command over hindi. And to be honest their english is also not upto the mark..Hence there was always a communication gap between the students and the teachers????
