Remarks

Positive remarks. A great college with excellent faculty and good exposure which every student needs in his life to become a great doctor Negative remarks. You see you need to maintain an attendance of 75 percent you know what I mean.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

This is a MBBS course... Ofcourse its not an cakewalk. You need to work hard to pass the final exam of each year. Mbbs is an 4 and half year course and 1 year of internship in your respective college's district hospital. That would provide you an excellent exposure to a real life management of a patient.

Placement Experience

5

You don't need placements. If you're a doctor. There are a lot of job opportunities (if not you create one) a doctor doen't care about getting a job. Internship is an exporure to a Hospital as i told before.

College Events

4.5

There are not that many events held usually in a medical college as you need to give most of your time into studying. I ain't saying that there are none. There are cultural activities but not that frequent as seen in other colleges.

Fee Structure And Facilities

If you get a MBBS seat in Government quota. You're a lucky guy. Because you saved a lot of money out of your father's pocket. The fee structure is feasible in a Government college but not in Private college.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have no idea about any scholarship to which Iam qualified but there are many scolarships to which many of my friends have availed and they get free books and also some loan for completing a the medical course.

Campus Life

4

If I have to tell about the extracurricular activities one by one. Labs are great you get to lesrn so much about the clinical corelated thing on your own once you attend lab. Sports are great. Who doesn't love sports.

Alumni/Alumna

What they teach in your medical life is to always respect your colleagues and your alumni or seniors and They are of great help to you whenever you need guidance be it study related or career related.

Admission

After clearing 12th standard I wrote an entrance exam KCET through which I got a medical seat in this college. There is an certain cutoff to acquire a medical seat in a college for which you need to qualify.

Faculty

4

Faculty depends on which year you're studying. 1st year faculty is all chilled and cool whereas from 2nd year onwards you would judge yourself of taking a decision of joining into a mbbs course but you cant blame it on the faculty

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
