- The lab infrastructure has to be improved.
- Events which include all the peeps of MEC is low.
- Sometimes it will be a tight schedule for students to cope up with the time given by the university to complete the semester.
Course Curriculum Overview
Got admission into this course by ktu allotment.Electrical is a core department so it is nit that much simple.Many supplies are reported after every semester. Students have to balance with assignments records internal exams etc.After covid pandemic the semester are not that much accurate . Most of the sem are completed within 4 months.
Internships Opportunities
Many internship opportunities are given by many companies which are provided by the Training Cell. There will be paid as well as non paid internship opportunities. Students sometimes has to face interviews so as to get into the internship.
Placement Experience
From semester 6 or 7 onwards placements are started. Placement Cell helps in achieving this. Highest package for the last batch was 82 lakhs per annum.around 75 percentage of students will get palced and most placements are reported from computer science department. Average package will be 8 lakhs per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is sem wise and is of about rupees 20000 per semester. It is fixed for the time being but has to give additional rupees of about 2300 as examination fee.Scholarships are available which include central sector etc.
Campus Life
Campus life is average. Every year collage tech fest named EXCEL will be happening .Arts and sports , Collage day and some events are happening every year. But the campus does not have that much area so there are restrictions in conducting events. Wide range od books are available at college library. Also many events are organized by each clubs independently
Admission
After the declaration of results MEC holds 3rd position under the ktu . Also Mec has a better placement background. Highest package for the 24batch is 82 lakhs.So this itself brings into this college. Admission procedure comes under ktu rules and also Admission by NRI are also promoted.
Faculty
Most of the faculty members provide support to the students.But due to the short time period of each semester they are also pressurized from higher authority to complete the pending modules.But the lab staff is so supportive and so much helpful.But some of the Department teachers are just here to give the lectures.
