Likes
- The coding culture of college is great. And the many clubs are there if anyone want to learn something in the Development field.
- Many Hackathons are organised in the college.
- There is mentorship program in which every student is assigned a mentor which helps you alot if you any problems.
Dislikes
- 75 Percent attendance criteria. It is very hard to maintain attendance percent in the college.
- College timings are also pretty bad. College starts at 9.00 AM and ends at 5.00PM. Students didn't get enough free time.
- The course followed by the college is very old.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum at our college is currently lacking in relevance and comprehensivenss, as it has not been updated according to the evolving demands of market. Many aspects of it feels outdated. For instance emerging fields such as data analytics, App development etc are not adequately covered.
Internships Opportunities
Mostly our college offers unpaid internships like MLSA, LinkedIn learning. But it gives active information about any intership opportunities, which helps students to be aware of them. Also College is also collaborated with Many companies like Mercedes Benz, Honda.
Placement Experience
The placement thia year was not that good. Because many Companies doesn't visit our college this year. Many mass recruiters also were also missing. the highest package this year was around 19 LPA offered by CISCO. And avg package this year was around 6LPA. Only 60 percent students are placed this year till now. When it comes to me I'm mostly focused on off campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
In first year a Btech students have to Rs 138000 as academics fee and Rs 8000 for Aktu exam fee. There are no fee deduction for SC and ST. But from the second year to fourth year it comes down to Rs 128000 as academics fee and 8000 as Aktu exam fees. Students use to appy for government scholarships mostly because there are no scholarship that is provided by the college
Campus Life
Mainly there is only one fest in the college which is EPOQUE. It is our annual fest happening in the month of February. Our library is pretty good, it has a large collection of books there and You can easily issue them. And if any book you want to read isn't there you can just ask for it by writing an application demanding the book. Our classes are well ventilated and has smart boards which makes the teaching process easy for teachers. Sports facilities are good, Almost every game has it's own court.
Admission
I applied for many colleges like AKGEC, GL Bajaj etc but i choose my College because of its reputation and Placements. Before recession the placement was around 8 LPA but because of the recession it falls down to 6LPA. Also the girls to boys ratio in the college was good.
