Remarks

Overall i must in terms of infra and some related facilities its not upto the mark , but when it comes to the crowd of the college i guess its no less than that of a top college of a north campus.. So atlast i want to tell that atleast my review would definitely be helping you out and you wont get disappinted or misguided.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

To be very honest i feel the currciculum is a li'l bit weird coz teaching subjects which are of no use to student is something which annoys me. Being enrolled in the bachellor' s of commerce what a student can expect that he wont find atleast hindi as his subject but here i got it in 3 out of 6 semesters. So i feel i am very much clear.

Placement Experience

4.5

In terms of internships and overall placements & job opportunities i must say that dcac is such a college where you can just find a lot of internships right from day 1 in your college. Talking about two of my friends itself one of them was intern from KPMG and other one is currently an intern in P&G. So atleast in this aspect no problems exist.

College Events

4

Variety of events are being celebrated in our college . In the start of a session we have freshers and then various socities on our college organise some or other events time to time and then after the first sem fests season start. Every society organises their own respective fests and i must say the cultural fest that i attended in my first year is something which i will never forget bcoz that was simlpy just fun.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Talking about our college fee structure i must say its very much economical coz in the first year i paid around 10500 and then in the second year it was reduced to 7900(approx) and then finally in third year it was again lowered to i guess 7100 or 7200. So in total within 25k or 26k u can complete three years of ur grad.

Fees and Financial Aid

I personally did not availed any scholarships or loans by the college and even when i got admission i was not aware about this that scholarships or loans are being offered. So if u have this concern i feel u should write to the college for this and get to know about it.

Campus Life

2.5

So when we talk about labs , sports, etc then i can just simply say these facilities are not upto the mark that a students expects it to be. But i must tell that i have heard a rumour in the college itself that our college is shifting to some other location in the north delhi where the area would be thrice of the area which the college presently has. So might be there the facilities get improved .

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I haven't opted for it and i dont know anything about it. Even talking about my friends who are there with me in this college also dont have opted for hostel and one thing i am also not sure about is whether dcac gives hostel facilities or not so get it confirmed from the college if u have such an issue.

Alumni/Alumna

Two of my seniors were there in this college who just told me every imprtant thing about this college before o took admission here and i feel whatever they told was actually true and thats very good actually that atleast you were not misguided. And seniors were really very helpful , as i started the admission process there were many seniors to help me out with the entire process and even though after that also they were like take my number and if u face any problem just call me up.

Admission

So let me start from very beginning , when the 5 cut off was declared i just checked and i came to know that my percentile lies within the cut off and so the next morning i went to my previous college and withdrew my admission from there and then rushed here with all the paperwork and got admission here.

Faculty

3

Talking about the faculty of our college i would say one third of them are too good at teaching. They way they explain the concepts is really good. The other part i.e two third of them are like they come teach the way they feel is good but they dont care whether the student is able to learn or not they just come finish their daily targets and go back.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
