Likes
- College societies are very active here, they encourage students and egage them in practical work. Many societies related to AI-ML, Mechanical, electrical etc core branches are established in college with many cultural clubs.
- Most of the teachers are Phd teachers or phd students as assistant teachers therefore they have great knowledge and experience.
- College fees is affordable, and scholarships are provided to weaker cetions.
Dislikes
- The college campus is very small just 20 acres so there is not much to explore in college . sometimes classes of students clash due to unavailability of classrooms
- Cultural fest or evenst doesnt happen frequently. Fest and ethinc days are not very encouraged here.
- Most of the students are from haryana, so it gets difficult sometimes to blend in especially the students who are from other backgrounds
Course Curriculum Overview
Subjects taught to us are highly relevant. I have Btech -Ce with specialization in data science. and my subjects throughout my btech journey are very relevant such as statictics, maths, coding, python, economics, AI-ML etc
Internships Opportunities
Third year students are eligible to go for internships. Most of the students apply for internships themselves offcampus. And companies start to come in 4th year for recruiting students, for internshipa and placemnets
Placement Experience
Placement ratio for Ce students and ECE and ENC branches are quite high respective to other braches. Package of 6-8 lakh is provided. Companies like Amazon , Flipkart , Accenture , Yamah etc comes here during placement drives
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly tution fees of college is 1 lakh per year that is 50k per semester and the fees remains constant throughout, it doesnt increase. College has girls hostel facilities for now, boys hostel is not there and its fees is around 50-60k per year. Scholarships are provided to students from sc/st and economically weaker section. Overall the fees structure is affordable.
Campus Life
Infrastructure of college is not very good, but its improving but it would take time. Campus is small there is not much to explore but the club activities are very encouranging. Many clubs related to all the core braches are there are does great work.
Admission
I chose this college because it is quite near my home, as i am from gurgaon i wanted a college close to there, plus i wanted a reputed government college. I also applied for colleges like LPU i got btech Ce there, I cleared VIT exam, and i even got UIET chandigarh through JAC chandigarh counselling but i preferred this college over the private colleges and beacuse of the distance from my house. Admissions in this college can be taken through HSTES counselling and it only accept validity of JEE-MAINSscore
Faculty
Faculty members are all Phd teachers and assistant teachers are phd students, so overall the faculty is good with great knowledge and has experience. The things taught to us the core subjective to our fields and its relevant. We are given with lab practical lectures correspoding to respective theory classes. Sessionals occur twice per semester. Scoring marks in exam is easy if we have core knowledge of our subject.
