- The Library of college is amazing and college also provides reading room as well which is easily accessible by everyone
- The rooms in new building have proper infrastructure and also have proper benches whereas in old building big rooms doens't have benches as per college students as they're small
Dislikes
- Increased fees and is at outskirts of Delhi like without any good facilities they are charging more feed than SRCC or even a north campus college. Whereas some off campus colleges are good at infrastructure facilities
Course Curriculum Overview
The course of curriculum had changed and we are keen to know about new technology which is being used in real world for projects. So we got to learn software such as tally prime and ms Excel but limited classes are available as some systems are not working and lab 3 is outdated as laptops are almost 10 years old there without any internet connection
Fees and Financial Aid
In first year fees was 19500 and in second year it was around 22500 and then in my final year now it's 25500 every year fees increased by 3000. And I don't even know why they are increasing fees rapidly every year although no such facilities are provided by college which are being provided by South campus and north campus colleges. The classrooms don't even have Air conditioners and also fans aren't working properly in every room. So it should provide at least basic infrastructure facilities as well along with taking care that lift facilities are available for students as well. And seminar room isn't well maintained by college hardly 100 students of two sections can be adjusted at a time.
Campus Life
Yes there are various social societies in college for drama, acting, innovation, placement and a lot other as well as per the required fields. But events which they are organised are low budget and sometimes they invite guest for cultural event but not upto the mark. As cultural fests are part of students life but here in this college politics plays a crucial role as well. And canteen of college isn't well built not even having proper ventilation due to which it is humid to be inside it.
Admission
The admission process is through CUET score as per the system of University of Delhi. And this college comes under top 30 colleges available. I didn't choose this college and I got it by fate or destiny whatever just at the spot round with zero hopes because I had taken admission in Sol and it was fruitful to be there as there are various other advantages as well. But choosing a regular college in off campus I don't think so it's a good choice as it demands not only fees but also commuting time which I don't think so worth that much a whole day for 3 hours approximately. Although for North campus experience and south campus as well it makes a good choice but only 2 or 3 off campus colleges are well maintained and well organised
Faculty
The faculties of college are well educated but that doesn't mean they will be good at teaching. Although the knowledge they possess are really helpful for yeh desired field. But here comes the point regarding external and internal marks because internal marks are 70 out of 160 of core subjects due to which you need to earn the marks from teachers by completing the desired assignments or projects along with internal assessment. The catch is that for having a good grade and cgpa both marks matter but for passing you need to score in external at least B grade in your exams so that even if you get F grade in internal it will balance out as what I have got to understand as per new education policy
