Remarks
Very good place to study and very good experience. The people over here are also nice. The placement and internship opportunities are also good. The infrastructure are also super good. The exposure given through various opportunities aroused are also not seen commonly everywhere.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is well developed and also updated with the varying trends of the industry and their demands. The faculties are very experienced and have many industry connections which helps in getting industry based projects. The exam structure consists of end semester exam of 100 marks, mid semester of 50 and 10 marks from internal assessment.
Placement Experience
There are a lot of placement opportunities available at our college. This year it self just for mechanical engineering we have about 15 companies coming in. We have compulsory 6 week internships after the third year and a optional one of 6 months in the 8 Sem. College provides support for both the internships. I did mine at Siemens ltd, Vadodara. It was not stipend but was a very good experience.
College Events
We have 3 main fests here: Petrocup: the sports fest Flare: the social and cultural fest Tesseract: the technical fest Other than this we have 25 clubs active round the year which sums upto more that 100 event in a year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's expensive . My fees per semester is 1,10,000/- INR. Plus the hostel and mess fees of 1,26,000/- INR. But it can be said that it is worth the money that is being spent. The exposure given to students here is like no other.
Fees and Financial Aid
There aren't any major scholarships available here. Just the merit based scholarship of 100% which are given to the top 2 students of the batch for every semester. I myself have never availed any scholarship.
Campus Life
There are dedicated individual football, cricket, tennis, basketball grounds. We have world class lab facilities with state of the art machinery and equipments which students are giving hands on experience.
Hostel Facilities
Yes. Very nice infrastructure with AC rooms and attached washrooms. We also have house keeping staff for maintenance and cleaning of the rooms and other places. It is a 3 sharing hostel with 35 rooms per floor for 4 floors.
Alumni/Alumna
There is alumni network that has been developed and managed by the alumni board of the college. They are very helpful in bringing in companies for placements and also help the students to decide on their post graduation options.
Faculty
The faculties are very experienced in their domain and student friendly. There are many research opportunities available with the help and guidance of these faculties. Most of the facilities have their PhDs from IITs or NITs or from top reputed institutions.
