Remarks
The college had a poor backtime. The college owner was caught with 1Cr. amout cash which was collected by the the government. Then the college did not pay fees and all to the teachers which resulted in teachers going on strike for 2 months. Many left. Light bill and water bills are still said to be pending.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am pretty much bored by the syllabus of pune university as it is 2015 pattern and I am living in 2019. Exam are programmed as 2 online exams of 25 marks each and 1 written semester exam for 50 marks. Where you have to secure 20=> in written and 40=> in the subject overall.
Placement Experience
Placement is been a good point in this college yet now. They give centralized placement which means all the institute of sinhgad society fall to come to our college which is the main campus for placements. average package is said to be 3.5Lpa
College Events
Sinhgad karandak is the most known event in whole pune colleges. It is the event held by Sinhgad Institutes and many international guest appears here in this fest. In karandak, each department helds there own programs too.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Expensive to what we get to learn and to what other colleges affiliated to pune university charges. The fee for first year is 1.25L and for rest four is 1.05L about. Other colleges charge you about 80K.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are Caste Scholarship and EBC scholarship offered to the student's lying in the criteria. The fees just shuts down to 10k to 60k then. There is also additional 80k or about money given for hostels.
Campus Life
Labs are in sufficient. It has a International level sized cricket ground. It gets really hard to hit a six here. There is swimming pool and football court. The campus is quite huge so activities are in full here.
Alumni/Alumna
This place is ragging free. You will get quite friendly seniors. The crowd is classy and massi both. Seniors arrange utmost quality events according to them. The teachers are on business. You miss, you loose until you go to them.
Faculty
They are poor in the field of interactive teaching methods. They are just audiobooks of whats written in the presentation or the notes they carry in. Some are good but the curriculum is headache and that doesn't allow to have sufficient time for lectures
