The course curriculum as of now is as per cbme guidelines introduction by nmc the college follows it and is strictly adherent to it They have a simulation lab and proper hands on training is possible while doing internship Exams are conducted every year..semester wise.it is mandatory to pass the exams to move forward to the next year

Internships Opportunities

Internship is after 4.5 years of college for one year Stipend provided is 12 k with food and accomodation which is way below as per nmc norms Convocation will be held after internship completio they have an alumni for job seekers

Fees and Financial Aid

Paid 16 lakhs/Year this includes hostel fee Under managemnt quota Everything is based on neet score card No scholarships provided to mbbs students Government qouta students can avail fees as per Karanataka state..approx 2 lakhs per year

Campus Life

Annually there will be cultural fest which will be conducted by the students itself College emphasizes more on sports activiteies They have a good football ground along the small football turfs They are various students run music clubs and dance clubs All classes are air conditioned with powerpoint facility

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are seperate for girls and boys There is a choice of ac and non ac rooms Ac rooms are charged seperately Meals provided is ok rating 7 /10 They have mess facilities food is prepared from management owned kitchen Rented pg may be possible outside campus

Admission

Got a confirmation of jnmc belgavi opted out as i i heard that the patient input is way better in ymc compared to jnmc. As a keralite ymc has a good mix of keralite and karnataka patients. patients often travel from inner parts of karanataka to get treatment here treatments here are at a subsidized rate as it is a charitable hospital U can expect confirm allotment if u come btween the rank of 70 k and 90k Half of the seats are reserved for muslim minority Admission is purely based on MCI allotment

Faculties are very good the faculty to students is way above the basic standards as per ugc norms Highly qualified faculties are available right from 1st year to final year.. They can be approached for any doubts College conducts exams on a regular basis

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

Mbbs course is one of the high respective course. We want to face many struggles during exams. But in future we will become excellenct doctor. Exams are not that much tough, but still passing marks in mbbs course is 40% (cbme curriculum). Last year it was 50% passing marks. We want to practice diagram for anatomy and physiology we want to write short notes.

The first batch of students is passed out in this year from our college. Now they are doing their house sutgency. Besides they are preparing for their pg studies. Most of the students will opt for higher studies like MS, MD, etc. Our hospital is average with average cases. And specialty hospital construction work is going on.
