Remarks

The college is great but still needs some minor improvements for us to avail the international standards. The infrastructure improvements is quiet necessary so is the maintenance of the existing property.

Course Curriculum Overview

We have a new course and syllabus with just 2 exams - midterms and endtermd per semester. Additionally we have vivas projects internships and many more skill development classes all year round to improve our skills.

Placement Experience

It is one of the few colleges in the state with more than 80% placement record. We get a whole lot of companies in our campus for placement and internship. There are alot of international as well as indian companies hiring us

College Events

Xtasy, perception, engineers cup are the 3 main events of our college. They are respectively the cultural, technical and sports fest of the college. They are quite a long extended fests with participants coming from all around.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible The fee structure is really feasible for a urban middle class family. For a general category student like me the yearly college fees is just 38,700. That is quite a bargain when you consider the rates other colleges charge

Fees and Financial Aid

The colleges has number of scholarship programmes in place . There is the scholarship given by the syate government of the state and added to that there are a number of national ones. Added to all that is scholarship orogrammes provided by the college itself

Campus Life

The college has well maintained labs , club halls and grounds. Wr have got a swimming pool along with a basketball and volleyball court and cricket football and futsal along with tennis grounds. There is a lot of support towards extracurricular activiyies

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is wuite strong. We generally do have interaction sessions with them where they help us through our queries. The college has a shining alumni with many IAS os and IFS officers too whom we are proud of.

Faculty

They are really professional and knowledgeable faculty. They are quite punctual, quite chill and cool with us at the same time quite dedicated to their field of work. There is strict attendance inspection all round .

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

A Good University

First of all mainly because of the location it is situated. It is in the Captial Region. I got some seats in NIT-R but didn't go because the seats that i got is all 5 year course and i don't want to study for longer period of time. So the admission process is quite simple.
