Remarks

The college is overall good and just lacks the placement. Being a part of the college was overall a good experience with supporting teachers and good students who were ready to help you when you need.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is detailed which allows students to learn basics of commerce in every field like marketing accounting maths and economics also exams are conducted every 6 months in the semester format

The college does not provide internship opportunities but it does have a placement cell some of the companies do come and try to hire you but most of the jobs are related to sales to would say the placement is not good

College Events

College celebrates all the events but not at a very huge level as the budget is usually low some events like college fest include various games like cricket dance events etc but usually are less rewarding.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is reasonable. I paid about 40000 for the 3 years including my tuition fees and also examination fees. Also there is no additional charges and fines so just pay the fees and the examination fees and enjoy

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not sure about any loan facility that the college offers but yes there were scholarships at various levels deponding on the talent you may have which varied from 25% to 100% for some. The number of students who got this were very few.

Campus Life

Extra curricular action were there like badminton basketball table tennis acting crecket etc and it was your choice to be a part in them and if you are selected you represent the college i do not know about labs as i never used them

Alumni/Alumna

I never met any alumni in particular but yes many teachers were part of the college they completed their graduation and post graduation here and then became teachers here only by completing their PHD.

The facility is good and teacher are talented with good and detailed knowledge about their subjects regular classed are held and also extra classes to clear amy doubts you may have. One thing that i dont like is they try to threat you by not giving attendance

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
