This is one of the best colleges in Kolkata. Every thing is good about the college. I have experienced many learnings throughout . I can recommend this to everyone. They can consider heramba Chandra College.

Economics honours is a demanded course. The exam am appearing is yearly from Calcutta University. Now they have changed the system and its semester now. We have to choose different subjects to be opted.

My seniors had told me there are good placements cell. Some of them are from Amazon, ICICI bank, indigo, TCS ,etc. They provide job and internship with moderate salary. Only 20% of the batch clears the interviews and are selected.

Every year we celebrate freshers, fest, farewell, annual sports day, excursion and picnic. Going out with your teachers and friends during picnic and excursion is real fun. During fest many famous bands are invited to perform.

Feasible .it's a government college so fees are really affordable. Totally worth for money. Some students even get scholarship while some get concession in their fees. My fees was ?5850 only for a year.

Yes there is kanyashree for girls students. Even students whose family annual income is low can apply for fees concession. Such students are provided with concession in fees and books of their course free of cost.

Each type of extra curricular activities keep taking place in the college premises. There is geography laboratory. A basketball ball court. Two libraries seminar and central library. All are good and maintained.

I don't know much about the alumni network. But the seniors are helpful. I don't know much of them but I talk to few. They will sometimes help you with your studies and project work and practical exam.

The faculty are really good. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. Some of the professor had graduated from the same college. So they know what they really need to be focused. They help the students in all the way possible.
