Course Curriculum Overview
The field of electronics is currently in a large growth in India. The main reason for selecting electronics engg is because of the stability in Jobs as compared to other branches. There are several startups in this field even in our college. The syllabus is also updated every 3 years and the exam durations are probably 2-3 hrs.
Internships Opportunities
There are lots of internships provided by private companies like terrific minds by Abhilash Jaypal and so on with a monthly stipend of 12000. Most of them are online projects like creating applications softwares and so on. For electronics its pure innovations.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible to attend campus placements. Amazon, wipro, infosys, tata, bmw, tcl, and other mnc companies often visit our campus with lots of offers. More than 120 companies visit our campus. Last year it was 25 lpa for IT department and it was the highest placement. Almost 70 percent students get placed in campus placements if not having backpapers. My plan after degree is to get pg from a reputed college
Fees and Financial Aid
Two types of fee structure All India Merit State Merit For statemerit it is 35000 per semester and 55000 for all india merit. For sc and st it cost only 2000 per sem. Also there are several scolarshilps and e-grantz for economically backward students. There are private scolarships too.
Campus Life
Hundreds of programs are held everymonth in cusat inside as well as outside. There are even extracurricular activities and sports eventsntaking place in campus There are social clubs green clubs political clubs in our academy. All of them are initiated by students only.
Admission
I chose cusat just because of its placements when compared to other colleges. The highest lpa was 40 lakhs per annum recently in cusat. Students need to write cat exam to get into cusat. General students upto rank of 5000 have the chance to get into the main campus. The cut off rank are also very high. For ece it was 2500
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is also good. And most of the faculties are really cooperative. They are student friendly and helpful if you are willing to obey them. There are 2 internal exams and an end semester exam in each semester and 10 - 12 holidays are given for end semester exams. The exams are difficult compared to KTU syllabus and the pass percentage is 50. So you need to strive hard. No activity points like KTU
