I took computer science. Course is as per BPUT university covers all basic subjects and some management subjects as well.first two years have common course for all streams like mathematics, physics, chemistry, c programming, basic electronics, basic electricals. 3 year onwards has computer networks, operating system, organizational behaviour, operational management

No internship was taken by me. It is not mandatory for the course to take internship. College provides no such opportunity. You can take internship on your own choice and college would provide necessary documents. I know of seniors who had taken internship in companies like Nalco however it hardly helps in final placements

All software companies visit campus like infosys, wipro, tcs etc. Core companies are very few. Package is between 250000 to 350000

Annual cultural fest called xtasy where Bollywood bands too invited. Annual technical fest also invites participants from other colleges and events like robotics are interesting

Very liberal as its a government college. I spent 150000 for entire 4 year course being day scholar. For branches like civil, electronics, electrical, mechanical with hostel it used to be 100000

I got 5000 per year for good academics being in Top 10% in call. SC St students get scholarships too. I'm nt sure of amount

It was fun as had good friends. Used bunk class, spend time in canteen. There is a literacy society. 30% girls get admitted as state has quota. Fresher parties happen in college and hostel. Farewells too happen every year. There was a dramatic group as well.Students were from all classes. Never really got into diversity details as that was never topic of discussion

Good as New hostel has been built in premises. It's huge building and looks good from outside. It's better than the old one and as its nearby there is no hassle of commutation. It's built post I passed out. So can't comment much

They have started connecting up on regular basis with meets in cities. Not been able to attend though. Every year they have meets in Bangalore. I have not had any conversation with any alumni though some are connected through social networking sites

Two semesters per year. Each semester has 3 internal exams of 10% weighage each. Final score is cgpa on the base of 10. It was little hectic. Each lab session was a test of 10% weitage

College has very experienced professors and some less experienced lectures as well. However everyone is focused and helpful in providing guidance. Mostly core subject faculties are phds and have good work experience. Teaching methods are good with practic
