Remarks
Good colleg with Worst campus,management is moderate.Labs are in worst condition.Teachers are good.Principle is a good human being.Library is very good with almost 30000 books in it.you can borrow 10 books from library.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is not good.This college is inder MAKAUT.In first year you need to study basic department subjects which is commom for every stream. Exam pattern is quite good. 10 marks MCQ, 3 questions of 15 marks each, 3 question of 5 marks each. 30 marks internal.
Placement Experience
Placement scenarion is very bad for core branch students.If you are from ECE,IT,or CSE branch then you will get plenty of opportunity.Almost 60 to 70% students will get placement.But in core branches like ME,CE,EE you will not get jobs in your field.
College Events
There is no big freshers but a small freshers party will be there. Lots of technical fest happens in our college.if you are a person who love dancing singing,acting you will get plenty of opportunity to shocase your talent.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is not that expensive.Fee structure is controlled by a governing body in west bengal.Fee is like 42 thousand per sem.In first sem you need to pay a bit high of 62 Thousand.you need to pay the amount within 2 months of starting of sem.
Fees and Financial Aid
West bengal freeship scheme is there where you can get full ,or half refemption in your fee.There is one bank near the college which is ready to give you education loan. College will help you in this case.
Campus Life
There will be one inter college sport tournament.In our college there is a football team and one cricket team and one volley ball team is there.Labs of every department is in very worst condition. They need to improve this
Hostel Facilities
There is no hostel in our college.There is lots lots of mess around the college.Aying guest facility is also there.In mess you can choose only for stay and eat outside.In this case your expenditure will be low. IF YOU OPT for staing and eating you need to pay a bit high.
Alumni/Alumna
There is no good relation with the alumni in every stream. Biomedical students always arrange a get together with their alumni. In other streams information technology they also arrange. mechanical is only 8 year old stream. So we dont arrange any get together with our seniors.
Faculty
Almost every faculty is from JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY. They are quite good. Helpful also.In mechanical department everyone is not that much strict,But there are few faculty in our department who are very strict.
