Remarks

Amazing college to be in. No negative remarks at all. Amazing infrastructure, amazing cafeteria, amazing green room and gynkhana, amazing library. We do have a big fat library. Everything is good about the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

We had chilled curriculum. Exam structure was 4 exams and 2 terminals. 6 monthly terminala. I have never got a kt so i don't know the process of appearing foe kt exam and how many times can you appear for.the exams.

Placement Experience

1

Being bcom students, we didn't have the previlage of having campus placement. We all were doing some or the other professional course and doing our internships during the bcom couse. We did not even attend college as we haf to go to office for our internship.

College Events

3.5

Talaash, kani, arthanomics, psyc insight, and many more.. Talaash is a very famous college festival. Various other programs are organised by the college for the student of different fields. Various courses have specific programme which interests them.

Fee Structure And Facilities

While the fee structure is quite Feasible, college usually becomes expensive due to various other programs. Being a bcom student though is quite feasible as we do not have trips. During the entire couse, we had only trip that too in Mumbai.

Fees and Financial Aid

None. I have never taken any scholarship or loan for studies. I don't even know people who have taken loan or got scholarships. Don't even have a family member who has experienced this. So no idea at all.

Campus Life

4.5

There are many. Jai hind college has a gym khana which has various games. We have carrom, table tennis, various others. We also have a laboratory as we are a college of commerce and science. We dont have ground for sporta.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

None. I had a home sweet home to go to so no hostel experience i have. But i do know people who used to stay in hostel. Quite expensive it was for them as not only they had a laundry list of monthly expenses.

Alumni/Alumna

We dont have a alumini network or may be i am not parr of any of the aliumi group. But as far as i am aware, we don't have amy alumi group atleat my batch doesn't have any. But there should be one. Would like to know people.

Faculty

4

We barely attended college. Some faculty were amazing rest dint cared. Bcom crowd usually takes up.professional courses which keeps them tied up all during the college life so they hardly attend the college. I was a type of student who did not even buy.books.

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
