Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is prepared very well. As it comes under MAKAUT(Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University and Technology) University. So all the courses are decided from there. You will get to learn many various subjects and topics which will be important in your future.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 550000 per year

Placement Experience

You become eligible from 7th semester for placements. Tcs, Cognizant, IBM, Clinisys, Accenture, cloudkaptaan and many more Companies visit oncampus placement. Percentage of students getting placed is good. If you have tech knowledge then you can easily crack it.

Fees and Financial Aid

My 4 years course fee was 4.84 lakhs. In 1st sem 80k approx, 2nd sem- 69k then from 3rd-8th: 56.5k. It has now increased by approx 1 lakh, not know the exact so confirm with the college admin. If you are from bihar then you can use bihar student credit card scheme and avail upto 4 lakh for your course and for west Bengal students there are various scholarship scheme.

Campus Life

Many clubs are there, IIC - innovation club, geekonix- technical club, tecnotkarsh- sports club, ankuran- cultural club, samaritans- nss club. According to your interest you can join any and learn various things for your growth and future use

Admission

This college comes under top private colleges of West Bengal. You can take admission into it by Wbjee and jee exams after 12th. You can also get into this by Jelet exam into lateral courses. You can do preparation of these exams from Youtube videos easily.

Faculty

The faculties are good. The ratio is also satisfactory between the students and teachers. You will have 4 CA and 2 PCA(practicals) in every semester. You can prepare easily if you go through the college notes.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
