- First off all I like the faculty of Nsec some are too good and some are good all are supporting in nature .
- Here in the college we got some seminars on personality development which is I think awesome for a student like me who is introvert in nature .
- The curriculum is not so hectic teachers are dealing the lecture with their pace .
Dislikes
- Campus size is small here you will not get the acres campus like nits or iits it is maybe 3 or 4 acres .
- Location of college is outside kolkata it is in garia which is almost 20 to 25 km from howrah.
- Girl to boy ratio is 1:3 which is I think good for any engineering college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I think course is made for placement after first year in first year we are learning physics math which I think not necessary in real world or in placement. Our syllabus is decided by makaut university so I think they forgoten to change the syllabus from 90s . I think course structure should be Little changed
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities is not so good here if you want internship you have to try off campus one of your senior got internship in Microsoft which was off campus and got around 70000 per month stipend . On campus internship may be free or at very minimal stipend.
Placement Experience
Here placement season starts from 7th sem and many companies visit here such as Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Wipro, cognizant but main recruiter are TCS and Wipro Amazon and Microsoft select very few students. Highest package is around 4200000 and average is 5.5 lacks claimed by college. Almost 90 % student get placed here . I have plan to do mtech after my course.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee of my college is about 698500 for four years and in terms for each semester it is around 98500 for first sem and 93000 for 2nd sem and around 83000 for the next six sems gradually. This is for the non Bengali students who are not getting any kind of Tfw seats . For Tfw candidate the tution fees is 0 and they have to pay other charges. Around 700000 is the whole fee for the four years with some university Registration charge and exam fee . There is no such scholarship is provided by our College ???? .
Campus Life
We have annual tech fest like and right now I am new here so it not held yet , talking about library it is good here many books are for study and lending too . We don't buy books for our course we lend it from Library for whole semester. some classroom have ac and few have not but all have digital projector ????? and teachers use them also. Sports and extracurricular activities are good here too . Many students group present here too help eachother and clubs for coding, gaming or many more things .
Admission
I gave jee which I couldn't clear or I was getting not good college I gave cuet too from which I got ramnujan college for BBA but I have to do btech so I left that also I got call from Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar University Lucknow for btech in electrical and electronics but there placement was not good so I choose this college from wbjee. For admission in this college you have to gave wbjee or jee then on the basis of your rank you got admission here.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is good we are here provided with 5 faculty for 3 theory classes. In which three are woman and 2 are male . Faculty are too good they listen to student they want to teach them . I think our math teacher is too good although all are good but I think he is awesome his name is trishit Banerjee sir . We are here with each semester exam and these are easy if you study well in your semester. Before sem exam we have three continuous assessment known as unit test or mid sem .
