IITKGP is a dream come true.

Mechanical engineering is the real engineering as i believe in noise and creating something physical than just coding. Tech is also a part of our curriculum but it's the machineries that we are taught the most. Our labs are the best examples of how an engineer should operate and no wonder why all the top engineering units in India have IITians as the founder.

At IITs students are free to find placements on their own and if not then durng the final year, companies like L&T, Pum Lloyd, Tata Motors, and Mahindra Auto among others come and take students in numbers. Students plaement percntage is 100% an some students even have dual offers and hence students here are spolit for choies as placements are thsi good. Avrage for Mechanical students is aroud 20lakhs.

Fees for all the IITs is same as it is around 3.6 lakhs a year. 2 lakhs is the tuition fee and since IIT is a residntial campus 60k is for hostel fees and rest all ar mess fees and other charges. Merit based scholarships up to 25% to merit based students.

In annual fest, we have a spring fest of three days where many top artist like Raftar, Baadhsah, Aastha Gill and other artists have been invited to perform. Annul tech fest is called Kshitij where recently we had a robowas and students from all the IITs participated. IITKGP is India's biggest campus with an area of 2200 acres where we have every damn faciity be it sports, ;abs, hostels, shops, banks and what not.

There are two kind of rooms and they are 2 seater and 3 seater rooms. Both are available wher 2 seater rooms costs 80k a year and 3 seater rooms costs 60k year. In all there are four mess and food served is also quite good. There are many gaming facilities, a common area that has couches and TV sets. So, hostels are pretty good.

IIT Kharagpur is 4th ranked best institute in India and mechanical it's the second. Hence, i only appplied for IITKGP and i am so happy that i made it. In my second year and everything feels unreal to me. Admissions process are through the main rounds of JEE and then interviews and final selection.

Faculties at IIT Kharagpur are awarded the best faculties award at every year IIT's meet. All vastly experiened and since mine is mechanical enginnering, i see no better than ours. We call them express teachers as even though most faculties are in their fifties but i have never seen them struggling even after doing up and down constantly.
