- Firstly it's campus life , it's really awesome and enjoyable
- Placement is also decently good.Average is 5-6 lakhs

- The location is not so good. It's little far for Kolkata
- Students have to wear uniform. It's a formal dress including black pant and a little pinkish shirt
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum designed for the students is good but still it needs more improvement. Students should be introduced to the new technologies and should guide to focus on real-world works and application. Yes , the difficulty level of the exams are mostly moderate. (It also depends upon the hard work and study)
Internships Opportunities
Basically I am a student of 1st year but I hard from the seniors about the internship. Some company gives you internship in 3rd year from the college but to students can grab internship from their own before 3rd year too.
Placement Experience
After 3rd year the student can sit for placement.After the third year the place when start. Different IT company and non IT company visit our college like wipro, cognizant, Accenture, IBM, Haldia petrochemical and many other. The highest package of 2024 is said to be 33 lakh and the average package is approximately above 5.5 lakh. Generally percentage of student getting placement is 90 plus
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of the college for 4 year is 582700 (without hostel) and 683700 (with hostel), it includes the admission fees which is 10000 , the caution fees for institute is 5000, the hostel fees is 12000/semister, also other fees like lab, development and few other that is within the fees structure.
Campus Life
When it comes to college life it gives you amazing and enjoyable college life which includes different events that take part in college. There are many clubs for tech , dance, music sports. Fests are conducted namely Riviera and and prajukti. Overally the college life gives you a multiple learning experience.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is decently ok. The food quality is not so good sometimes. But the hostel capacity is quite impressive and it offers three students per room and also four students per room. The hostels have a common room for indoor sports like carrom and chess also grounds for outdoor sports
Admission
According to my situation and interest I have to choose private college for my desired branch CSE and Simply, after that I will tell that overall I like the college. Because if I compare this college with other college in the overall prospective ( which includes the placement,the infrastructure, the exposure ,the college life) this college is better than other private colleges in West Bengal. Our colleges three admission process : WBJEE, JEE mains, management quota.
Faculty
The faculties and mentors of HIT haldia is really so much supportive and helpful. If you need help related to accademic and also other problems you face they are there to help. The faculties are very experienced. There are 8 semister exams in 4 years and 2-3 class tests(CT) is better. The assignment given by teachers are more or less ok depending on students also.
