Thapar is second best private college in country after bits Pilani.The environment here is beautiful and we have a lovely campus.Thapar has been ranked 20th by NIRF .It is best college with awesome college life.

The curriculum of my college is upto date with technology.But we still have to do some old things like manual drafting which can be given away.The exam is that we have 2 exams.One is mid semester exam and other is end semester exam.

Yes placements were very good this year.Our placement head is hs bawa. He ensures every student is placed in a good company.The highest placements is for computer science followed by other branches.The average package is around 6 lacs.

Thapar has 47 societies that organise different cultural as well as technical events.These events see participation from all major engineering colleges.Satirnalia is the main cultural fest of thapar.Other event like urja which is our sports fest is also popular.

A little expensive for a middle class family.Fees is around 2 lacs for a semester.But there are multiple scholarship provided where we get fee deducted based on cgpa.There is also merit Cum need scholarship.

Yes there are five types of scholarship.First is given to students who is get 90% above marks in 12th and a very good score in jee Mains.There are other svjorships also based on cgpa. Top 10%students of every branch are given scholarship.There is an alumini scholarship also.

Labs are equipped with latest equipment.labs are never closed even on Saturdays so it is a very friends and learning environment for students.We also have different areas allocated for multiple games such as table tennis,basket ball, football ground etc.There is also a common room in each hostel where there is a tt table and a carrom board.

Yes I've opted for hostel.My hostel has excellent food but it has quite old infrastructure as it was built in 1953.But the facilities are up to date and caretakers see to it that things go properly in hostels.

Yes there is a whole society that works on alumini network.It is known as SAIC.It stands for students alumini interaction cell.It reguralt conducts events related to alumini of our college.Yes it is helpful because it helps students know to about future opportunities that college give us.Alumini also helps in getting in internships matching to profile of student.

Most of the teachers are experienced in there fields.But there are few teachers also who don't know how to teach and just show the slides and go.But rest of the teachers are best .Tutorial teachers also help us to understand subject better.
