Remarks

Our college provided facilities, qualified faculty, placements and training team. There were many extra activities like sports. I think our college is the best for an engineering college in Kerala.

Placement Experience

The placement cell of our college provided placement to the students in different companies like Classic Homes, TCS, Habitat Technology Group, Stanadyne India, Techware Solutions, Techware solution, and many more. Our college promoted the students for campus placements.

College Events

Our college organised events like cultural activities, singing, dancing, Workshop, National Workshop, college Fest, Kairali Phoenix Award, Vimukthi Campaign, health-related activities and etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee of my course was around 170000 rs annually and the hostel was also available and chargeable. The rent of the hostel was around 19000 rs annually and we can take the mess facility but it was chargeable.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college provides the scholarship facility for some students in each department and also provides the loan facility for students.

Campus Life

Our college organised activities like basketball, football competition and Award ceremony, Placement cell, Vimukthi Campaign, and labs with all new computers and the latest technologies.

Hostel Facilities

Our college provides hostel facility with the mess food. The room rent and electricity charges are approx 20000 rs yearly and Mess is also chargeable.

External Expense: Rs.10000 - Rs.15000

Admission

I got the admission at this course through my intermediate marks. I did my intermediate with the PCM. The management quota and NRI seats were also available in our college.

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
