Likes
- The infrastructure is good and well equiped labs and auditorium. It has a big library with with a huge amount of academics as well as other books. The college has an open air theatre too.
- The college has a variety of clubs which help students to boost in specific domains of interest. The sports facility is available for with a big ground to play.
- The faculty is well experienced and supportive. There are multiple faculties for each subject which if needed can be helpful for students to clear doubts.
Dislikes
- The college time is soo much hectic. There are a lot work to do which sometimes feels so hectic in the 8-5 college schedule.
- There are 3 exams in a semester. Inspite of being autonomous they just ruins the college life.
- 75% attendance in theory lectures and 100% in practicals is not what to be expected.
Course Curriculum Overview
As the college is autonomous which increases its demand for the academic curriculum. The syllabus is different from the university syllabus and is also a liitle bit company oriented which helps to students to job ready.
Internships Opportunities
Colllege helps students for the internship opportunities. The college has an internship cell which guides students for internship. This cell provides various internships like, Industrial internship, Govt. org internship, Internshala internship, Online internship amazon, google, microsoft, etc.
Placement Experience
The placements are better in college. The average package goes around 5lpa and the highest package is nearly 12 to 15 lpa. The capmus placements had a good oppotunities and also the college brings the reputed companies to the campus, like tcs, bmc, UBS, Honeywell, Johnson, reliance, godrej, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
As I am an OBC category student I have to pay 50% of the total fees i.e. approx 76677. The scholarship form is submitted by college itself. The total fees of OBC category are declared by college as following: Tution fees - 52174 Development fees - 15652 University charges - 1000 Caution money deposit - 1000 Eligibility fees - 650 Examination fees - 5000 Students accident insurance policy - 500 Addmision form fees - 500. Other category students fees varies as per their type, like SC/ST - 8851 ; NT/VJ/ TFWS - 24503 ; The female candidate tution fees are forgiven by Maharshtra Govt. These are all the fees of students admitted by CAP rounds. Beside this there are a lot other scolarships available for student from different categories.
Campus Life
The overall camus experience is fantastic. The college has a lot of events going on throught the year. The college has an cultural fest known as ALACRITY which gives the chance to showcase the talent in front of the huge audience and aslo entertains . These are the golden days of college life.
Admission
As per my CET percentile score the best I would get was this only. There are other better colleges based on the placement scenarios. Its simple that if you work hard you be able to crack a good placement offer in average colleges too. The admission process is not too complicated. Just after the allotment you have to visit the campus along with all the documents and fees and submit it to the college.
Faculty
I have no such idea about faculty to student ratio but there are enough staff to manage all the batches. The relationship between faculty and student is not the same with all, some are more humurous and attached while some just mind their buisness of teaching. The exams system is like that there are in total 3 exams in a semester. Insem 1, Insem 2, and endsem of one semester. There are a total of 6 units in a semester of which Insem 1 consits of unit 1, Insem 2 of unit 2 and unit 3,4,5,6 for endsem. insem 1 and 2 are of 20 marks each and endsem of 60.
