Course Curriculum Overview

3

According to me the course curriculum is very bad because they teach some subjects which have zero relation with the placements and learning them leads to wasting your time effort and everything like yoga biology and many more.We basically in a sem have two major exams one is called mid sem of 20 marks and other is called end sem of 50 marks and rest 30 marks is internal which is in the hands of the faculty

Internships Opportunities

3

So recently a company named bny Mellon came for its internship it provided a stipend of 75000 per month and also many other companies with very excellent stipped have come to the college like Qualcomm and dell So the companies are majorly asking dsa only so if you are good at it you can easily get a good placement and internship

Placement Experience

3

Students become eligible for placement from 7 sem onwards till that they can try for off campus placement. So basically many companies visit over colleges and provide very good packages too The highest package offered in previous year was 64lpa and average in cse branch was 8.5lpa Quite a good percentage of students get placement my plans are quite straight I am currently aiming for a decent package of above 15 lpa and i m working for it yoo

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees for a year goes around 530000 which includes tuition fees, mess fees, hostel fees and laundry fees Yeah there is scholarship provides for students who get under 1000 rank in the entrance exam and also I guess there is a scholarship for top 100 students in the whole branch like cse,it stuff

Campus Life

4

Yeah the campus life is very good over here as you have a very huge campus so you can hugout with your friends and the fests over here are also quite good and there are various fests and events organised by various societies at a regular count. The college provides very good facilities and the classrooms are also very good with fully ac and also many other good facilities like sports, etc

Hostel Facilities

3

So basically there are 4-5 options in hostel starting from 3 bedded non AC to 2 bedded premium ac that is with attached bathroom currently my hostel is 2 bedded ac premium so I would tell about it the hostel is quite good and the people over here are also good just the problem with this hostel is the mess food which is sometimes too bad and another major problem is the distance of class from the hostel is too large so it becomes difficult to travel daily it makes you tired and your schedule hectic

Admission

The major reason of mine for selecting this college was the sports facilities which are very popular but after coming here I realised that the strength of students makes it very difficult for you to get a good opportunity for any sports to make it into any sports.i rejected srm cse and vit ECE branch over this many colleges in Bangalore as my kcet rank was around 19000 and I had obc category too the admission criteria for this college is simple you have to give the entrance exam and th rank in the entrance exam decides your branch

Faculty

3

The faculty to student ratio is quite good means you have a huge teaching stuff over here and there are quite good faculties over here and also there are some who are just not suitable for teaching some the teachers which I liked the most over here are Prasanth Kumar Mohanty, sashruta mishra and few facilities which I didn't like are minaki rout, rabi shaw The exams are quite moderate neither too hard nor too easy you can easily score very good marks just by reading a week before exams Quite a good number of students fail to pass the exams evern though it's very easy to pass it

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students. The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini. The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.
