When any case the college decision to take our benefit not take justice and play with student career one of my friend case and my friend father say to college I want to see CCTV video the college registrar says this is not for you it is for our purpose and principal says to me if your friend file case to college I get out to u from this college

The placement cell is very poor the company are 1or 2 come for placement but these company are very poor company and not MNC when I study only one company are came for placement and these company are came only for 2 student

The events are not more but enough for that college in this college celebrate the Tech fest ,engineering day ,fresher ,farewell. But not more good events in this college . because of the college don't support to the student for events

The fee structure is OK but the college don't follow the our fee structure which is show at the time of admission. At time of admission college promise to many thing but after taking admission don't worn on the promises

College staff support the. Student for the scholarship. The scholarship are for the sc/st students only for himachali bonafide students . and in this college is no loan facility provided to student. And other no scholarship in the college

Campus Life

There are more labs but they are for showoff no use of this lab because of there is lot of lab technicians. In point of sports this college have no sports. But at time of admission say very more but there is no sports activities.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are helpful but first time very rude behave and taking ragging and if u complaints to teacher warden they take no action regarding this case . but by time they change and help to each other and celebrated functions together

The teaching staff of this college is very good. But non teaching staff is very bad even high post staff of non teaching to student like principal and registrar and main focus of non teaching staff are to imposed fine on students.

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

Are you looking for Affordable and Peaceful place for your Technical study
